I fear my silence
What lurks within it
I fear my thoughts
What lurks inside my mind
I fear they might break me
I fear the things I’ll never get to do
I fear them and I lack follow through
I fear my Sounds of Silence. Don’t you?

I actually love the sound of silence, but since I have tinnitus, I never hear silence. But your fears are legitimate. The brilliant woman you are, and your rough childhood together must conjure the most unimaginable things. Speaking of the “Sound of Silence” you might get a smile from my parody of it called “The Sound of Coffee Grinding”: https://wp.me/p1yQyy-5CV.

💎 I Love “Fear” EveryOne; having Overcome The STIGMA!!! Associated with Mental Health I Have Admitted, Acknowledged and Addressed My MMHI (Multiple Mental Health Issues) from My Conditioned UpBringing…so I No Longer Perceive “Fear” as an Enemy; for Me NOW!!! “Fear” is that Irritating Friend who is ALWAYS RIGHT ✅️ when They Advise Me to Stay Away from SomeThing or SomeOne EveryBody

Raised in the great African wilds, silence was indeed my friend. But nowadays in the towns and cities, it’s a rare bird. I discovered another silence. The silence within, wherein lies the only true place of peace. Suffering is the nature of human existence. In dealing with this state, setting fear aside, we sojourn into the mountains of happiness. Blessings, Peter.

And without suffering there would be no compassion. I love what you said…”we sojourn into the mountains of happiness.” Reminds me of someone precious to me. Stunning words. Spectacular.
