In these tumultuous times we’re living in it’s challenging to stay positive, to remember to smile, or remember what life was like before all of THIS! My friend, Timothy Price, on his fantastic blog: Off Center & Not Even, wrote a beautiful piece and prompted me to create this post in response.

So, there’s something very “special” that I do when I feel like things are just downright horrible. It comes from one of my old favorite tv shows, Grey’s Anatomy. They do it throughout every season. You Dance It Out in those times when you can’t see a way out, you’re mad at everything and everyone, when you just can’t win. I will admit, dancing is the last thing you usually think to do when you feel at your worst, most certainly when you don’t even feel like getting out of bed. It sounds counterintuitive, I know. Seriously, don’t knock it till you try it. If anything, at least you’ll get some endorphins going, burn a few calories, or maybe, just maybe have a LOT of fun! ENJOY!!!

Here’s How It’s Done, Ladies and Gentlemen
Here are several great scenes to demonstrate how awesome this can be. Trust me — It’s worth the time to stop & watch!!!
Below is the entire song from the first video for those who are interested! Maybe you can use it for your own Dance It Out Session!
These will all be on my new page that is coming soon —
My Blog Soundtrack: Songs I Write To
Wonderful, yes, dance it out, release all tension and built up emotion. ♥️🌹🙏🏻

Wow! You jumped on that one. Thanks for the mention and the link. That’s the first time I’ve seen anything from Grey’s Anatomy. Dancing it out is a great way to relieve stress, get the blood flowing clear out your head while listening to great tunes.

HA HA HA HA! I love the whole quote! “Exercise gives you endorphins, endorphins make you happy. Happy people don’t shoot their husbands. They just don’t.” So freakin’ true!! Go Elle Woods!!

Yessssss dance is a fun way to get my exercise on. Dive times I just max the volume and dance throughout the house with the broom in tow for a stand in dance partner 🕺 💃 Thanks for sharing. Dee
