The answers are not in my wine
But my thoughts are intertwined
I seek them in the songs I listen to
On repeat — still can’t get a clue
A failed overture
Pray — take this endeavor no further
But my thoughts are on fire
My mind’s need is dire
I know it is there — somewhere
Can’t leave it alone because
Uncertainty is my greatest fear
I think we all share the fear of uncertainty. We want things to be clear, yet so many things remain opaque forcing us to dare to do or null the void and live with the consequences of either choice. Damn free will.
