Changing Your Mind

Malcolm Gladwell said,

“I feel I change my mind all the time. And I sort of feel that’s your responsibility as a person, as a human being – to constantly be updating your positions on as many things as possible. And if you don’t contradict yourself on a regular basis, then you’re not thinking.”

I couldn’t agree more! Perhaps you perceive the act of changing your mind as a negative thing. Maybe you have a different name for it, like flip flopping or wishy washy. Gladwell inspires us with a call to action while framing “changing our mind” as a responsibility to humanity. All the way to the end, I heartily agree! If only more people would “think” how different would our world be? I posit, there would be improvements of EPIC proportions!

But, hey, that’s just my two cents. What do you think?

  1. Oh wow I was thinking about this just now and then came across your post! So many aspects of self all moving through and changing my mind on things – one of the extraordinary parts of being human I guess

  3. hihihi some of us have been lectured for ‘over changing our minds all the time’ but then, we tend to do it again afterwards…so, we just decided to live our lives in peace.
