Not Enough

I wanted to change the world.

I wanted to overcome my trauma.

I wanted to believe I could do both.

You think you know me?

Guess again, you don’t.

These two years are really wearing on me.

I’m so over this…..what do you call it?

Your best? It’s not enough for me!

Can’t figure out what to do or what in the world to say!

What is it going to take to change things, if even, just for a day?!

    It makes one wonder if a person can ever overcome the trauma. It’s like having the mark of Cain for no fault of your own. I wrote a song inspired by you a few years ago. I recently wrote new music for it, and Teagan sang it for me. You can see the music video at https://youtu.be/VQLRP5-Liaw.
