      3. That’s great. I have done my share of baking, but I’m not crazy about it. I have to bake Laurie a chocolate cake for her birthday every year, because she thinks my cakes are so much better than any of the bakeries around here. At least I can say is that my cakes get eaten. We have four birthdays in October and one year we got a big chocolate cake from a local bakery. It made it through all four birthdays and then we finally had to throw out the rest of it.

      1. We absolutely loved the BAKE OFF over the past two years Eleanor. We had a wonderful mix of bakes from bloggers of all ages and many different cultures. It makes for a fun event, that’s what we try to make it more than anything – fun!! We do have a judge, but it’s not really supposed to be an intense contest – it is all about the taking part and connecting with other lovely bloggers.
